"The primary purpose of this Club shall be to

Paradise Ridge Youth Soccer Club
The Paradise Ridge Youth Soccer Club (PRYSC) is a California non-profit
public benefit corporation whose mission is to provide youth soccer to children
ages 4 to 19 on the ridge communities. The club has been in constant operation
since 1981 and generally has between 500 and 700 kids playing in the fall
season. Our primary objective is a program that is safe, fair, and fun for all
participants.
In order to make that happen, every year we rely on 10-15
volunteer Board members and over 40 coaches and team parents. Additionally, we
actively recruit and provide USSF training for new and returning referees. With
an operating budget of less than $50,000, we work hard to keep registration fees
as low as possible. Nearly 90 cents out of every registration dollar goes
directly to registration fees, coaches, referees, and fields.
In addition
to our first priority of providing a youth soccer program, since 2002 the Board
has been actively working towards finding and developing field space on the
ridge dedicated to soccer. Although we have purchased a piece of property and
are still actively participating with the Paradise Community Village project,
the club has partnered with the Paradise Unified School District to maintain the
Intermediate School field for three years. Our goal is safe, beautiful, and
maintainable fields over the long term. Although the club has invested wisely
and is financially secure, we have nowhere near the resources to develop our
field site alone. If you would like to contribute time, equipment, or money to
our field development, please contact us at info@paradisesoccer.org.
